Custom Mini Fan Buyer Guide: Logo, MOQ, Samples & Shipping

6688 Basic Round Handheld Mini Fan Custom Logo Promotional Gift

Custom mini fans can be useful for summer promotions, outdoor events, travel kits, retail programs and employee gifts. The buying decision should not be based on appearance alone. Model structure, power source, logo area, packaging, destination and required delivery date can all change the quotation and shipping route.

Jinyu Novelty supports selected mini fan models with logo printing, small trial quantities and private-label coordination from Chenghai, Shantou. This guide explains the information buyers should confirm before requesting a sample or placing an order.

6688 handheld mini fan for custom logo sourcing
The 6688 product family includes multiple decorative color and head-style options. Confirm the exact SKU before quoting.

1. Define the Promotion and Recipient

Start with the use case. A fan for an outdoor trade show may prioritize portability and quick distribution. A retail or e-commerce program may need stronger packaging, barcode placement, instructions and repeat-order consistency. A children’s program may require additional age grading, warnings and destination-market review.

  • Event giveaway: quantity, logo visibility, simple individual packing and arrival deadline
  • Corporate gift: presentation, packaging, brand colors and perceived value
  • Retail or Amazon: barcode, labeling, carton data, instructions and compliance responsibility
  • Seasonal campaign: stock availability, sample schedule, production capacity and shipping lead time

2. Confirm the Exact Fan Model

Mini fans that look similar in photos may use different housings, motors, batteries, switches, charging ports, decorative parts and packaging. Do not request a quote using only the words “mini fan.” Send the exact product page, SKU or reference image and ask the supplier to confirm the quoted version.

For the 6688 series, buyers should identify the required head shape, color combination and packing route. Browse the mini fan product family or review the custom mini fan sourcing page.

3. Check the Power and Shipping Route

Ask whether the selected model uses a built-in rechargeable battery, replaceable batteries or another power configuration. Battery type and capacity affect product documentation, carton labeling, courier acceptance and freight cost. The shipping route should be confirmed before the buyer approves the final price.

Provide the destination country, postal code, order quantity and required arrival date. Express, air and sea options have different cost, transit time and battery-handling requirements. A product quotation without a destination-based shipping assumption is not a complete landed-cost comparison.

4. Select a Logo Method That Fits the Surface

The suitable printing method depends on the material, surface shape, logo size, number of colors and required durability. Common routes may include pad printing, screen printing or UV printing, but the correct method must be reviewed on the exact product.

  • Send vector artwork when available, or a high-resolution transparent PNG for an initial review.
  • State the required logo width and preferred position.
  • Confirm whether the artwork uses one color, multiple spot colors or a full-color image.
  • Request a digital placement proof before sample or production.
  • Approve the physical result when color, alignment or durability is important.

Pantone matching, custom plastic colors and special finishes are separate from printing an existing stock color. They may require higher quantities, additional setup and a longer schedule.

5. Understand MOQ and Bundle Pricing

MOQ depends on the selected SKU, available stock, logo method, product color and packaging. Some existing models may support a low-MOQ logo route, while custom colors, new packaging or structural changes normally require a separate review.

Ask the quotation to separate:

  • Unit or full-bundle product price
  • Logo setup or printing charge
  • Sample and courier cost
  • Packaging, labels or inserts
  • Testing or document cost when required
  • Freight and applicable destination charges

Do not compare a bare-product factory price with another supplier’s price that includes logo, packaging and freight. Make each supplier quote the same specification.

6. Approve the Sample and Written Specification

A practical approval route for an existing mini fan model is:

  1. Confirm SKU, color, power configuration and quantity.
  2. Approve the digital logo proof and packaging layout.
  3. Approve a physical sample when required.
  4. Record the approved product, artwork, packing and carton requirements.
  5. Confirm the production and shipping schedule in writing.

Standard logo samples for eligible stock products may take approximately 3–5 days, and standard bulk production may take approximately 7–15 days after the required approvals. Custom colors, new packaging, fresh testing, battery-document preparation and peak-season capacity are scheduled separately.

7. Review Compliance and Battery Documents by SKU

No single certificate automatically covers every mini fan configuration, battery, age grade and destination. Tell the supplier where and how the item will be sold or distributed. Existing reports should be checked against the exact model, material, battery and intended market. Fresh testing or additional battery documents may be needed for a changed product or sales channel.

See our product-specific compliance review policy. Buyers should also confirm who is responsible for labels, warnings, importer details and destination-specific documentation.

8. Mini Fan RFQ Checklist

  • Exact model or SKU
  • Quantity tiers
  • Product color or approved stock colors
  • Power and battery configuration
  • Logo file, size, position and colors
  • Individual packaging, insert, barcode and label requirements
  • Destination country and postal code
  • Required arrival date
  • Intended age grade and sales channel
  • Sample and compliance-document expectations

9. The 20-SKU 6688 Range: Keep Model Numbers Separate

The Jinyu catalog treats the 6688 family as 20 independent product SKUs, not as one color-variation page. The listed models are 6688, 6688-1, 6688-2, 6688-3 and 6688-5 through 6688-20; there is no listed 6688-4. Decorative heads and item numbers differ, so a buyer should put the exact SKU on the RFQ, artwork proof, sample approval and purchase record.

Do not assume that one approved print area, power configuration, packing method or carton specification automatically applies to every 6688 model. Use the complete Mini Fan category to open and compare the individual product pages.

10. Plan Different Buying Routes

Buying route Priority checks Useful approval evidence
Event or summer campaign Arrival date, distribution packing, logo visibility and backup shipping plan Approved SKU, logo proof, packing photo and written delivery assumption
Retail program Color assortment, separate or shared barcode, display packaging and carton marks SKU list, barcode map, packaging proof and carton packing record
Amazon or e-commerce test Label files, individual package, carton data and replenishment lead time Final label, package sample, carton dimensions and reorder specification
Corporate gift Brand presentation, insert card, recipient experience and delivery location Logo sample, insert proof, packed sample and address plan

11. Color Assortment, Barcode and Display Planning

A mixed assortment can make a retail or event program more useful, but the buyer should decide whether each product number and decorative head needs its own SKU or barcode. State the total quantity, quantity per model, color mix, display method and replenishment plan. The quotation should not describe the order only as “assorted mini fans.”

  • List every selected product number and quantity.
  • Confirm whether the assortment shares one barcode or uses separate barcodes.
  • Approve the package, label and barcode position on the exact model.
  • Record carton quantity and mixed-carton rules before production.
  • Keep the approved model list for repeat orders so substitutions are not made silently.

12. Compare Quotations on the Same Scope

Use one comparison sheet for every supplier. A lower unit price is not comparable when another quote includes printing, setup, packaging or freight.

Field What the written quote should identify
Product Exact model/SKU, color and power configuration
Branding Logo method, position, size, colors and setup charge
Sample Sample type, cost, approval scope and courier
Packaging Individual packing, insert, label, barcode, retail box and carton marks
Timing Sample, production and shipping assumptions stated separately
Delivery Destination, trade term, freight scope and battery-shipping assumption
