Private label and brand execution
Private-Label Packaging & Artwork Support
Quick answer: Jinyu Novelty coordinates private-label packaging and artwork for custom novelty products, promotional merchandise and OEM/ODM projects. Depending on the product and sales channel, the practical route may use direct product branding, labels, insert cards, hang tags, sleeves, bags, printed boxes, barcodes, QR codes or gift-set packaging. The exact artwork, package structure, sample route, MOQ and production impact are confirmed for the selected product.
What private-label packaging options can Jinyu coordinate?
| Packaging route | Best-fit use | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Bulk packing / standard bag | Simple distribution, internal kits or price-sensitive programs | Protection, units per pack, carton quantity and labels |
| Sticker or product label | Opening programs and straightforward private-label identification | Label size, adhesive surface, barcode, text and placement |
| Insert card | Brand story, QR campaigns, instructions, event or ecommerce programs | Card size, artwork, QR destination, warnings and readability |
| Header card / hang tag | Peg display, gift shops and compact retail items | Bag format, hanging hole, artwork area and display method |
| Sleeve or belly band | Gift presentation without a completely new box | Dimensions, paper stock, print coverage and assembly method |
| Printed retail box | Higher-presentation retail or repeat programs | Dieline, structure, print setup, protection, barcode and carton volume |
| Counter display / gift set | Multi-unit retail or curated branded programs | Bill of materials, unit count, component positions and master carton |
What should be reviewed before packaging artwork is approved?
- Logo file format, colors, print size and artwork revision
- Usable product print area and practical branding method
- Package dimensions, dieline, structure and material where relevant
- Labels, insert cards, hang tags, sleeves, bags, boxes and retail displays
- Buyer-supplied barcode, FNSKU, SKU, QR code and other identifiers
- Warning, age-grade, importer, language or marketplace text for the target market
- Inner pack, master carton, carton marks and receiving-label requirements
- Whether the packaging changes shipping volume, protection or production method
When is an insert card better than direct logo printing?
An insert card can be a practical route when the product has limited printable space, the buyer needs more information than a product logo can carry, or the opening order does not justify a fully printed box. An insert can carry a logo, campaign message, QR code, instructions, reorder information, barcode or buyer-supplied warning text. It does not automatically replace any required product or package label.
What is the difference between product branding and packaging branding?
How does packaging change the commercial quote?
Packaging can change setup work, sample requirements, packing labor, carton dimensions, volumetric weight, barcode or labeling work and production timing. Two supplier quotes are not comparable if one assumes bulk packing and another includes a printed retail box. For this reason, Jinyu prefers to separate the base product route from optional packaging upgrades when practical.
What is the packaging approval process?
- Confirm the exact product and channel. Product version, quantity, destination and sales channel affect the packaging route.
- Select the branding route. Decide what belongs on the product and what belongs on the package.
- Prepare source files. Provide logo, copy, barcode/QR files, warnings, importer information and references.
- Review the digital proof. Check spelling, dimensions, orientation, colors and code readability.
- Approve the required sample. A photo, mockup or physical packed sample may be needed depending on risk.
- Lock the packed specification. Record unit pack, inner pack, master carton, carton marks and substitute rules.

What should a buyer send for a packaging quote?
- Product URL, photo or approved sample reference
- Quantity and expected reorder quantity
- Vector logo and brand-color references
- Preferred direct branding and packaging route
- Packaging copy, instructions, barcode, QR code or buyer label files
- Destination country, sales channel and intended user
- Retail, warehouse or marketplace receiving requirements
- Required arrival date
Does one packaging template work for every product?
No. Battery products, age-graded toys, products with small parts and retail packages can require different warnings, marks, documents or shipping review. Jinyu does not treat one packaging template or certificate as valid for every SKU or market.
