Injection Molding & Tooling Support in China

Quick answer: Jinyu Novelty can support custom plastic product projects through direct-access local injection-molding and mold-making resources in China. The project can start from a drawing, 3D file, physical sample or existing product and move through tooling quotation, mold development, trial parts, finishing and mass-production coordination.

Common project materials include ABS, PP, TPR and PVC, with other resins reviewed by the exact part and production requirement. Secondary processes can include spray painting, pad printing, UV printing and electroplating when technically suitable.

Direct-Access Local ResourcesInjection molding and tooling support through nearby and trusted local manufacturing resources.
Common PlasticsABS, PP, TPR, PVC and other project-specific resins can be reviewed.
Secondary FinishingSpray painting, pad printing, UV printing and electroplating can be coordinated by project.
Prototype-to-ProductionIn-house FDM/FFF prototypes can support early validation before mold investment.

Production route

From Product File to Injection-Molded Production

Not every project should open a mold immediately. The correct route depends on design stability, expected quantity, material, tolerance, appearance and commercial budget.

1. File / Sample ReviewReview geometry, dimensions, function, material, quantity and finish requirements.
2. DFM & Mold RFQConfirm the feasible molding route, tooling assumptions, cavity strategy and quotation questions.
3. Tooling & Trial PartsDevelop the approved mold and review trial parts against the buyer-approved reference.
4. Mass ProductionRelease approved parts into molding, finishing, assembly/packing and shipment preparation.

Common Plastic and Decoration Routes

Route Typical project use What is confirmed per RFQ
ABS Rigid housings, toy parts, consumer-product shells and structural plastic components Grade, color, impact expectation, wall design and finish
PP Flexible hinges, containers, simple consumer parts and selected functional components Grade, shrinkage, rigidity/flexibility and end-use conditions
TPR Soft-touch parts, grips, flexible toy/consumer components and overmold-style applications Hardness, feel, bonding route and exact formulation
PVC Selected flexible or molded consumer-product parts where technically and commercially suitable Formulation, hardness, destination/compliance implications and finish
Spray painting Color, visual finish and decorative surfaces Paint system, masking, adhesion and approved color sample
Pad printing Logos, small graphics, markings and irregular surfaces Artwork, print position, ink system and durability expectation
UV printing Full-color or detailed graphics on suitable surfaces Substrate compatibility, artwork, color and adhesion
Electroplating Metallic decorative appearance on suitable plastic parts Substrate, coating stack, appearance, performance and destination requirements

Machine capacity

How Machine Size Is Confirmed

Local factories may describe machines by injection capacity such as “8-ounce” or “12-ounce” machines. That does not map to one universal clamping tonnage. For a real RFQ, Jinyu confirms the actual machine model, clamping force, shot size and suitability for the mold/part before presenting machine capability to the buyer.

This avoids publishing invented tonnage ranges. The correct machine is matched to part dimensions, projected area, mold size, material and shot-weight requirements.

Not Ready for Tooling Yet?

Jinyu operates an in-house Bambu Lab P1S FDM/FFF 3D-printing route for selected PLA/PETG prototypes and short runs. It can be used to validate form, fit, assembly or buyer demand before committing to mold investment.
